Summer vacation

I spent the first two weeks of my summer doing summer club, been lazy with the nails, just dotty ones so didn't photograph.

I did my neighbours nails again though :)

Mike's from monsters inc.

And purple minions from despicable me 2.

One week left, then back to school. The nails will begin again :)

Simplicity

My auntie came round again, so I did her nails :) I'm fairly happy with these too!

The red is another Barry m :), the middle finger has a white base and I used Barry m's glitter nail polish (but being honest, it looks great but is a pain to get of your nails later!) the fourth finger, I painted white first, waited for it to dry then used medical tape to make the stripes, used a dark blue and painted it straight on. Using a nail tool I drew on the heart, but you can used a kebab stick, toothpick or tape to make a shape.

For my own nails this week I went simple :) it's the last week of school till summer and I wanted fun cute nails.

I love green :). The big spots are a gold Avon nail varnish (given to me) used the big end if a kebab stick and the little dots are a silver/gold/pink nail varnish that has no brand name, I used the nail tool as it has a small dotting attachment.

I hope you're all enjoying the sunshine as I can currently hear the rain coming down now.

It's a marbled world

This week I did marbles and my neighbours kids liked it so much they each wanted theirs done too :)

I followed a YouTube video and did a bowl full of water at room temperature. Drop little drops of nail varnish in the bowl, do loads of colours and then used a needle to mix the colours making a pattern. Look it up on YouTube as its hard to explain.

Twit twhoo.

Yes, you've guessed it, this weeks choice are ten colourful owls :)
Again I apologise for the nail varnish left on my fingers, but there you have it :) I was fairly chuffed.

Right so, basecoat (hardener), simply do the bottom shape of the owl using the nail varnish brush, same for the owls belly. Get that kebab stick out! Do those dots, take care on the little fingers or the dots will take over the belly. Then top coat (hardener) to keep it nice. A week later and no chips, nice little design, my work colleagues say.

What to do next week hmm?
