It's Christmas!

A busy few weeks and totally forgot to take pictures of my nails!
Week 2 I had snowmen and week 3 I had different nails as in: a present, stripes, Santa, dots and stars!

However Christmas week is here and I remembered to photograph! I'm very pleased with my nails!

New green from No.7 (boots) kebab stick for dots and a lot of effort on the house and gingerbread man... Closer look?

Again kebab stick works wonders!

You can't really tell in the picture, but I put some nail glitter on the lights, so when I move my thumb it looks like the lights are glistening :)

Well have a very merry Christmas and a beautiful new year.

I have watched doctor who from childhood up and it's only fitting that my nails reflect this great week!

I didn't clean up yet as I am to excited and wanted to show everyone!

So lots of concentration and a ball point pen for the detail :)

Enjoy this Saturday!

This week I went yellow :)

Not a fantastic photo, I just can't seem to focus my phone!

But yes Barry M yellow, black dots using dotting tool. Little nail brush tool for bows and using my Barry M glitter nail varnish and dotting tool, I took big glitter flakes and dotting them on my bows :) and finally top coat :)

Bubbles!

Black and white styled.

So usual, base coat, black base. Kebab stick for the bubbles, pin top for the dots and a smaller kebab stick for extra bubble patterns :)

Back to school...

School starts and I'm back to my nail polish designs :)

Are class can't have display boards, so we have been painting our walls and given all the kids their own chalkboards :)

Therefore I have decided to have a painter on my nails ;)

Flash photos in the dark, always look funny.

But hey I like them.

Also look at my friends nails, she did them at home by herself. There so good!

Summer vacation

I spent the first two weeks of my summer doing summer club, been lazy with the nails, just dotty ones so didn't photograph.

I did my neighbours nails again though :)

Mike's from monsters inc.

And purple minions from despicable me 2.

One week left, then back to school. The nails will begin again :)

Wednesday 7 August 2013

Uh oh!

This week I actually haven't done my nails, feeling very odd about it, so use to doing it, thumb got court while at work on a wheelchair and I pulled a bit off, easy to fix, part of me thinks, if I did my nails that wouldn't had happened.

I did however do my neighbours nails again, firstly we did a frog design but forgot to take a picture (my bad) this time we did a vintage style (she choose)...

The nail varnish was hers, they are such cute colours, a nail tool was used for the design, but again kebab stick and tape is a really good way of doing things.

Simplicity

My auntie came round again, so I did her nails :) I'm fairly happy with these too!

The red is another Barry m :), the middle finger has a white base and I used Barry m's glitter nail polish (but being honest, it looks great but is a pain to get of your nails later!) the fourth finger, I painted white first, waited for it to dry then used medical tape to make the stripes, used a dark blue and painted it straight on. Using a nail tool I drew on the heart, but you can used a kebab stick, toothpick or tape to make a shape.

For my own nails this week I went simple :) it's the last week of school till summer and I wanted fun cute nails.

I love green :). The big spots are a gold Avon nail varnish (given to me) used the big end if a kebab stick and the little dots are a silver/gold/pink nail varnish that has no brand name, I used the nail tool as it has a small dotting attachment.

I hope you're all enjoying the sunshine as I can currently hear the rain coming down now.

Heat wave kid

I'm feeling a tad boiling due to England's heat wave! How about nail designs to match it?

The beach :)

Flying a kite :)

A boat sailing or sunbathing...

A game if volley ball or perhaps just a swim with birds flying over!

Doing the sky, water and sand was easy, paint it on, sponge some blue, sponge some gold.

A nail design brush to do the details, I like the umbrellas :) the people are hard, but they are different shapes and sizes so yay!

Enjoy the sun kids!

Sunday 14 July 2013

1950s

So this week I wanted pretty, but looks complicated to do :).

I used the dotting tool I was given, but a kebab stick will work :).

And a thin thin brush to do the roses and gold lines :).

It's a marbled world

This week I did marbles and my neighbours kids liked it so much they each wanted theirs done too :)

I followed a YouTube video and did a bowl full of water at room temperature. Drop little drops of nail varnish in the bowl, do loads of colours and then used a needle to mix the colours making a pattern. Look it up on YouTube as its hard to explain.

Blossom.

So this week I have done blossom :) my auntie bought me an Avon nail design brush, bless her :).

It means I have crisp lines and perfect circles now :)

Thursday 27 June 2013

Twit twhoo.

Yes, you've guessed it, this weeks choice are ten colourful owls :)
Again I apologise for the nail varnish left on my fingers, but there you have it :) I was fairly chuffed.

Right so, basecoat (hardener), simply do the bottom shape of the owl using the nail varnish brush, same for the owls belly. Get that kebab stick out! Do those dots, take care on the little fingers or the dots will take over the belly. Then top coat (hardener) to keep it nice. A week later and no chips, nice little design, my work colleagues say.

What to do next week hmm?

Saturday 15 June 2013

My bad.

Okay so posting is actually hard for me to remember to do, opps.

My auntie Niamh wanted her nails done, so here they are:

Star Trek came out, yay, so I did galaxy nails... Black coat, black sparkly coat, then sponged on bright colours, bit of glitter and a few stars, end result i loved!

Why not paper plane it, the lines are good, but the plane is a bit odd, I need to find a way to do it :)

This week I had stripes, just because, it was my last week at my current school so felt like plain, but cute, I used tape, but then I fiddled and I don't love them massively, but hey.

Tonight I'm off out on the tiles :) (I'm 23 tomorrow! and I say the term tiles, I know). I also start my new job this week as a special needs Teacher :) and I wanted to do some fun nails... here we go, I adore them!
